I had to fight to get Adam Devine in the campaign. The agency and some folks internally felt he was too extreme for where we were trying to take the brand. I disagreed and pushed for it anyway, citing his broad appeal with movies like pitch perfect. What I liked about these spots is that they feel like real moments between real people. Sports advertising runs on tropes and we avoided most of them.
