In 2021 TikTok was still relatively new as an ad platform and most brands hadn't figured out how to make creative that actually felt native to it. I took it upon myself to figure it out. Worked with our copywriter on the script, then filmed, edited and animated everything myself. UGC style before most people were calling it that.

I acted in them because I can speak naturally about a product and we needed to move fast. The ads drove a 40% increase in clicks... or taps...and some of the lowest subscription acquisition costs the team had seen. It took a few years before they found influencers who could perform at a similar rate.
